Alex Higgins a true legend of snooker sadley passed away saturday when he lost his battle against throat cancer. Alex was the youngest world champion in 1972 when he defeated John Spencer to lift the world title, he went on to win it again in 1982. He was an exciting, flamboyant and freindly character exciting to watch. Alex is true to his words " It's a long and winding road " His journey is now over.

Steve was in Annan Ladbroke Betting Shop on Saturday 1st May, where he was given a free £100.00 charity bet.
He increased this to £225.00 by picking an e-way bet in the Guineas.
The money was shared by two charities.

Kempton racecourse day was a complete success and a great day out for punters and darting fans. Some of the legends of darts were present and organiser Keith Deller along with Phillip Pride and his wife Helen of Stadia Events made an enjoyable day for all at this maiden event. Hopefully this will be the first of many, due to the very positive feedback received.
